Because the implementation of 4G technology has not been done yet. And still, 4G has not been able to prepare all the towers. And it was looking like 4G will come in the next few years. But the plan is that by March 2025, there will be 100,000 towers of BSNL where 4G will be enabled. That means, the target is 2025. We will make all the towers 4G here.

The first thing BSNL has done is that the core technology that they will use for 4G, they will use it in 5G. But I want to tell you one thing. Mobile phone SIM cards do not make a difference between 4G and 5G. 95% SIM cards available in the market will be compatible with 4G. And they will run in 5G as well. SIM cards have nothing to do with it. Only 5% old SIM cards will be there. Where they will need to be upgraded. Otherwise, 95% of the cases are not needed. I have said this for Jio and Airtel earlier. I will say the same for BSNL. This is just a marketing method.

If Jio wants to reduce the price of some phones, then it will give some offers. The company will bring its plan from the back-end. With which the price will be reduced. And Jio has no such plan to bring 5G smartphones here.
