At least some schedule companies can create here, where they can update all their flagship phones at the same time. Or all the phones that have been launched in the past 1-2 years, were updated on day 1.
Apple’s Update Model is Better
I really like the fact that all iPhones get updates here at once. In Android, they had to do something like this that at one point in time, all the phones are getting updates.
So I would like to say that I do not mean to say that you give a buggy update, give a stable update, that would be the best thing. And yes, you deserve a long-term update of mid-range phones, where Samsung is bringing a 6-year update, which is a very good thing.
But if other companies also provide long and consistent software experience, then it will be a good thing. And here Android phones need to work more.
The Decline of Rooting and Custom ROMs
The next thing here is the thing of routing and custom ROM. Routing and custom ROM are things that are fading out of the market.
And many companies are avoiding routing, they used to do it before, but now they are locking bootloaders and there is no way to unlock it. You are not getting custom ROMs.
According to me, custom ROM routing is such a thing that made Android very unique. Because of which people used to think that they could unlock the true potential of their mobile phone and do a lot in their phone.
Sadly, this thing is getting a little less and if there is a return of this thing in Android, then I will like it very much. Especially custom ROMs, because there used to be very good custom ROMs, it used to be fun. That era has become a little less here.
There are very few phones that provide good support to custom ROMs. Even custom ROM developers have been reduced here.
If there is a good innovation here, a revolution in the world of custom ROMs, it will be a lot of fun. Sadly, there used to be a good atmosphere before, but slowly the craze has decreased.
Bloatware Continues to Be a Problem
The next thing where work can be done more is to kill bloatware. Bloatware will make Android phones such that you will always get to see bloatware.
If any company is making a mobile phone, then bloatware gives a lot of work, but if they are reduced and a good product is made, then it is a better thing.
Look, third-party useless apps can be removed and even many first-party apps can be reduced. Because of which people like clean experience.
Some companies do not even look at bloatware and do good work. Nothing is an example. Lava is a good example.
Look at Blava Agni. They have designed such a good phone and do not even give bloatware. Avoiding bloatware is a very daring move. And the company that comes and ignores bloatware more, can gain its trust in the market.
Battery Technology Lacks Big Innovation
With this, we can talk about battery technology. Battery is such a thing where there is no such big innovation. Look, if you look inside the battery, then no company has made a massive change.
Only minor changes are made here, such as joining silicon anode, doing different things. But it has not made such a big drastic improvement.
The basic thing that has happened now is that by using current technology, you can pack the biggest battery in it. But there is a need to go further than this, so that the battery can be charged quickly.
Long battery life can be achieved here and there is no degradation in that battery for a long time. This is such a thing that is still lacking in mobile phones, especially Android phones.
Recently, Oppo has signed a deal with BYD. BYD is a very big electric car maker in China. They have done a lot of work in battery cell technology here.
It is possible that if any battery technology of an electric car comes here in mobile phones, then we can expect a big innovation here, which may happen in the coming few years.
User Privacy Needs Attention

Android’s Ecosystem Still Needs Work

Inconsistent App Quality Affects Experience

After-Sales Service Must Improve
Along with this, I would like to talk about the good quality of service. That is, after-sales service is such a thing where Android phones are majorly lacking.
But after-sales can still work a lot here. Every company can improve the experience of its service center and after-sales.
Even if many phones are discontinued and their parts are available in the service center on time. It will still be a good thing.
Because basically, in today’s time, the direction in which many companies move is to launch as many phones as possible and forget the old phones.
Due to which the update of old phones is also delayed and if there is any problem in the old phone. Then its components and parts are not available in the market.
If a company solves this small problem of components and parts, that if we are making a good phone. There is a problem in it, then the company should take the responsibility to solve it.
And suppose if there is any physical damage to the user and if the parts are available. Then you will get a resolution on time.
That is, if you are making a good phone, but if you make the parts available on time, then it will be a very good thing.
